PLATINUM, SILVER & PASTEL HAIR
THE PROCESS
In order to have silver, pastel or platinum hair colour, your hair needs to be lightened to a clean ultra-light blonde.
If your current hair colour is black, red or brown, you will need to book in for a Colour Correction to start your silver, pastel or platinum hair colour journey. Depending on your current hair colour, multiple appointments may be required to preserve the health and integrity of your hair.
THE MAINTENANCE
To maintain silver, pastel or platinum hair colour, you will need to purchase a professional salon brand products. Drug store or supermarket products (even the ones that say sulphate free) use harsher cleansing agents that will strip out your colour and may also leave heavy build up on your hair. Maintaining silver or grey tones in your hair requires once a month toning to refresh the colour. As lightening your hair will cause it to feel dry, be prepared to pick up a hair mask or treatment to keep your hair feeling healthy and hydrated. We love and recommend Olaplex No.3!
OTHER TIPS FOR MAINTAINING SILVER, PASTEL OR PLATINUM HAIR
We recommend washing your hair with cool water, concentrating your shampoo only on your roots. Use your flat iron and curling iron at no higher than 350 degrees as high heat causes colour to fade very fast.

For Bleach Out re-touches with no more than a 1/2 inch of root re-growth. Please book in for a Bleach Out if your roots are past a 1/2 inch of regrowth as more time will be required to re-touch your roots.
